What is the cheapest way to get from Ohio to BC Canada?

think about driving or bus to Hamilton or Toronto airposrts (in Ontario) and flying from there to Calgary Alberta.
Suggest http://www.westjet.com or http://www.aircanada.com you'll find prices neck and neck prety much but westjet is better service and on time.

From calgary, rent a car and drive or bus Greyhound to Creston BC which is closer to Calgary then vancouver. http://www.greyhound.ca

KathyM is right. Fly to Spokane or Coeur d'Alene if at all possible, then bus or car to Creston. It's a few hours drive at most and would be a lovely drive in September. Seattle would be okay too, but then you'd have an all-day drive across mountains to Creston. Trouble with flying within Canada is that the major routes can be fairly cheap but the small ones, say from Vancouver to Castlegar or Cranbrook(I don't think Creston airport takes scheduled commercial flights) are pretty expensive.

Vancouver to Creston driving is a long haul, minimum 9 hours if you're used to mountain driving, have a good car and don't stop except for gas. Seattle to Vancouver is about 4 hours on an airport shuttle bus.

Fly from Cleveland to Spokane or Seattle and then take the Greyhound bus to Creston. It's always cheaper to fly to the closest US city and then take the bus into Canada.

I am not that familiar with the Spokane route, since I live in Vancouver, but if you take the Seattle route, you'll take the Greyhound bus from Seattle to Vancouver (Main Terminal) and then from there hop on to the bus that takes you eastbound.
