好難解釋percentile係D咩
或者由P25開始解釋
P25 = 25th percentile = first quartile (Q1)
下面個圖紅色的面積佔整條curve下面的面積的25% (這視為25th percentile)

另外,
P50 = 50th percentile = median中位數 (Q2)
P75 = 75th percentile = third quartile (Q3)

一個quartile = 1/4 = 25%
2個quartile = 2*1/4 = 50%
如此類推...

(舉一個例) 在一次測驗16名學生的成績分佈如下:
2,2,3,4,5,6,6,7,7,7,7,8,8,9,9,10

P25(或 Q1) = 由低分排至高分的25% = (4+5)/2 = 4.5
P50(或 Q2) = 中位數 = (7+7)/2 = 7
P75(或 Q3) = 由低分排至高分的75% = (8+8)/2 = 8
