1) Issac sells a movie ticket to his friend for $6 lower than the original price, and makes a loss of 10%.
(1a) Find the original price of the movie ticket.
(1b) Find the selling price of the ticket at which Issac sells to his friend.
2) Uncle Lam buys 600 oranges for $500, of which 5% are rotten. If he sells the good ones for $2 each, find the percentage profit.
3) Selling a dress for $240 will give a loss of 25%.
(3a) Find the cost of the dress.
(3b) To make a profit of 15%, what should be the selling price of the dress?

1a) original price = $6/10% = $60
b) selling price = $60-$6 = $54
2) good orange = 600*(1-5%) = 570
selling price = $2*570 = $1140
profit percentage = (1140-500)/500*100% = 128%
3a) cost = $240/(1-25%) = $320
b) selling price with 15% profit = $320*(1+15%) = $368

60-6=54

((600-600(5%))2)/500(100)-100=128%


3) Selling a dress for $240 will give a loss of 25%.

(3a) Find the cost of the dress.
240/(100%-25%)=320

(3b) To make a profit of 15%, what should be the selling price of the dress?
320(100%+15%)=368
