If you still have not received the package, then see if the sender can go to the office they sent it from and see if the clerk can use his last name to find the details of the package to see if they can tell him the tracking number or maybe the expected delivery date (if available) or maybe the sender can use the receivers (your) information and destination information to track it down on their system. Some of these tips might be a long shot, but it just might be worth a shot, especially if the package is of value. If at the end of the 10-12 days you have tried these tips and all other options you can think of, then maybe try to have the sender send another one to you (if that is at all possible).
