What is this, it's some kind of Chinese vegetable?

I am not sure what it is as the photo is rather blurry, but it is Chinese medicinal herb not vegetable. They look like small ginseng. Even the bag suggest so....

博愛 參茸國藥 - BoAi traditional medicinal herb

參茸海味 - ginseng
康復保僆 - restore health, protect ---?
針灸按摩 - acupuncture, moxibustion, massage
中醫 中藥 - traditional chinese med science, traditional chinese medicine.

SCSI is right, it's some kind of Chinese medicinal herb. I am not sure what exactly it is, but you can cross-reference it using this Hong Kong University database:

And if you not sure, the best is to bring it to your local chinese medical shop and ask the people there.
