關於中二級的articles的問題......

bed, school, church, hospital, prison, when they are used for the reason they exist. (John was sent to prison.) (**BUT:** His mother went to the prison to visit him last week.)
其實以上係什麼意思??
係指bed school 呢d字前唔可以加 the???

可以的話請用中文解釋......

John was sent to prison. [John比人送去監獄]
(**BUT:** His mother went to the prison to visit him last week)
[佢媽媽系上個禮拜去監獄探佢)

系中文.感覺無咩.
英文[the].系指定一樣野.
呢樣野系句子之前可以搵到佢.
咁講吾系好明.
好似你個例子....
John was sent to [prison]<-----第一次提及.
His mother went to [the prison] to visit him last week
呢個[the prison]點解要用the.
咁多監獄.佢丫媽去邊間啊.?
所以呢個the系有代表john入個個監獄ge意思.

Apples are falling down. I eat[ the apples]
我食ge蘋果.是邊到ga?
系岩岩跌落黎個D 蘋果.
系呢到.所以個the系話你聽.我食ge蘋果.系邊到黎.
the多數系同前面個句有關.
