I would like to apply for the scholarship because our family financial problem. Our family have 4 members, my aged parents and one elder brother. My father is 55 years old and my mother is 57 years old. My brother had got married since xxx and move out. I live with my aged parents.

My parents is unemployed since the "911" attacks until year 2003. At present my father is employed as a night-shift security guards and my mother is a saleslady. Our family income around HK$14,000 per month was just enough for the necessary expenditure for our family needs. For example, water supply, electricity, food and my school fees, etc. In Hong Kong, the economic is turning down, it is quite hard for them to find the other work if they lost the job.

Now, I am studying at post-secondary level, the total school fees is around HK$40,000 per year, it is quite hard for them to support the expensive school fees as they are aged.
