Make y the subject of that equation:
-10x + (1/2)y = 5
y/2 = 5 + 10x
y = 2(5 + 10x)
= 20x + 10

You should know the formula y = mx +b, where m = slope and b = y-intercept.

So from the equation above (y = 20x + 10), we can tell that 20 is the slope.

(1/2) y = 10x + 5
y = 20 x + 10
Slope = 20

-10x + (1/2)y = 5
-10x + y/2 = 5
y/2 = 5 + 10x
y = 2(5 + 10x)
y = 10 + 20x
y = 20x + 10
(slope: 20)

so you would want to convert that into slope intercept from (y=mx+b) where m would be your slope.

1/2y = 10x + 5

y = 20x + 10

so the slope is: 20

slope form is y=mx+b were m is your slope so you just need to transform the equation.

(1/2)y = 10x + 5 simplify:
u need to multiply each side by two to get rid of the fraction then
y = 20x + 10
so...your slopre is 20

y/2 = 10x + 5

y = 2 (10x + 5)

y = 20x + 10

Hence the slope is 20

-10x + (1/2)y = 5

Add -10x to both sides...

(1/2)y = 5 - 10x

Multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the (1/2)...

y = 10 - 20x

the slope is the coefficient of x, so the slope is 20

(1/2) y = 10x + 5
y = 20 x + 10
Slope = 20

-10x+(1/2)y=5
(1/2)y=10x+5
y=20x+10
So the slope is 20
