about english ..if i was/were?

若果說到現在或未來不可能發生的事，我們會寫成
if+過去式動詞＋would，如：

If he were king, he would kill me.
留意，在正式用法裏，不論是I, she, he, it之後都要用were
但在不正式用法裏，用was也是可以，所以，你的答案，當然最好是用were

For anthing that's an assumption, use "were."

If I was /were a bird, I would like to travel around the world in the air.

係用was 定were 呢?

eg.2 , If he was /were a bird, he would like to travel around the world in the air.
He/she/it/they/we/you/I + WERE ( British English)
He/she/it//I + WAS ( American English)
They/we/you + were

These are called " conditional sentences" in English grammar.

SORRY,但我記得係was嫁!=)

Eg2, 很明顯是用was,因為he是single.
eg1,我覺得是was,因為I也是single,一般只有you先用were
