about english ..if i was/were?
想問下英文文法
如果講緊無法發生既事,我知係用was/were
但係如果subject 係我,用was or were先正確呢?
eg 1. if i was /were a bird, i would like to travel around the world in the air.
係用was 定were 呢?
eg.2 , if he was /were a bird, he would like to travel around the world in the air.
呢句又用was 定were 先arm呢?
thx

1. If I were a bird, I would like to travel around the wolrd in the air.
2. If he were a bird, he would like to travel around the world in the air.
For anthing that's an assumption, use "were."
If I was /were a bird, I would like to travel around the world in the air.
係用was 定were 呢?
eg.2 , If he was /were a bird, he would like to travel around the world in the air.
He/she/it/they/we/you/I + WERE ( British English)
He/she/it//I + WAS ( American English)
They/we/you + were
These are called " conditional sentences" in English grammar.

係was.Beacuse...唔記得咗
SORRY,但我記得係was嫁!=)
參考: 曾學過
Eg2, 很明顯是用was,因為he是single.
eg1,我覺得是was,因為I也是single,一般只有you先用were
