How to obtain a job in the consulate of Japan in Vancouver or other cities in Canada?

I am currently on my 3rd year in the university with the major of Linguistics and the minor of Asian Studies. I am really interested in working at the consulate of Japan in Vancouver where I can use both the languages of English and Japanese. I tried to look up their website but I couldn't find any employment information.
Can anybody here give me some advice please?

are you a Japanese citizen? government clearance, etc? this would be a high level government position. you will not acquire it while overseas.

i don't speak or read Japanese (unfortunately) or i would link you to something like Japanese Government foriegn services or something similar. in USA i would start with US State Department as they administer embassies and consulates. you may try the Japanese version of our State Department.

Use an old-fashioned phone book, find the number and then contact the consulate. Believe it or not, not everything is on the Web.
