Help me about common Indian last names please?

I know there are a lot East Indians with last names: Singh, Gupta, Dhillon.

You intend to target Indian customers, yet you don't even know their surnames, and your 'market research' is yahoo answers? Riiight..

im not indian but i live in new jersey so i kno many people of many different ethnicities........patel is the most common one by far, singh is another one.
