1.How much milk is in the bottle?
2.How much milk is there in the bottle?

1.I enjoy to do housework.
2.I enjoy doing housework.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3. there should be a pronoun(there) after "is" in a question
4. "enjoy" must be followed by infinitive(to+...)
文法上1錯2對,3,4係點解錯既原因.
想問下3和4是文法上的甚麼錯誤.?係邊種文法既規則
好似錯in at on係prepostion既問題
甘樣1,2係咩問題?
✔ 最佳答案
1.How much milk is in the bottle?
2.How much milk is [there] in the bottle?
The [there] in the sentence is important because it tells that u are taking about a particular bottle. If u don't have [there], the sentence would lost its meaning.
I don't wanna translate this bit cos Im not good @ typing chinese,
so here is another way to explain:
好似中文咁
有幾多奶[係]個樽?
&
有幾多奶個樽?
無左個 [係] 字就怪怪地.
1.I enjoy to do housework. <=Wrong
2.I enjoy doing housework. <=Correct
首先,呢句嘅意思係 "我享受做家務" 5係功課. 5好搞錯.
Here is a rule for you.
enjoy is verb and it has to follow by a noun ALWAYS.
"do" is verb too, so to be able to put "do" after "enjoy".
You +ing. ie. doing
Therefore,
I enjoy "doing" housework. <= correct
應該中一二有教呢條rule我5記得個名係乜.你可以查下Grammar 書
Remember:
"Enjoy" must follow by a noun ALWAYS
ie. Enjoy watching TV.
Enjoy playing Golf.
Enjoy your holiday
Enjoy yourself.
*4. "enjoy" must be followed by infinitive(to+...)
I don't know where did you get this explanation from. It is WRONG.
You can have a check on the dictionary.
[infinitive]
【文】不定詞
In English an infinitive is often used with the word "to".
英語中,不定詞往往與"to"字連用
Which means an infinitive is NOT "to".
so the explanation is just full of trash.
我同Aus呢邊既老師confirm 過.
可以行定 I enjoy "doing" housework. <= absolutely correct
參考: Myself
