any argument needs to be structured with reasoned evidence supporting the statements.
here is one of the classic medols for presenting arguement:
introduction -> thesis -> antithesis -> synthesis -> conclusion -> references
be aware that you shouldn't include circular reasoning, cause and effect or leaping to conclusion in your essay.
write in clear sentences, with evidences to support your statements if possible.
give due weight to arguments that support and refute your main argument
talk through your arguments with friends. explaining and persuading someone of your case usually clarifies arguments.
ask yourself if your essay can persuade you when you are reading it.
