在美國明尼蘇達州被發現，並被取名為「愛咪麗」，在一家科技博物館中活了4年。
1999年，在台灣還曾發現過一隻三個頭的龜，第三個頭比其餘兩個頭都要小一些。這隻龜的方向感比較差，總是沿着「之」字形行動。
2005年9月30日，古巴一位女士在離首都哈瓦那不遠的河邊發現了一隻雙頭龜。

Double-Head TortiseDiscoved in Minnesota, the USA and was named as Emily. It had lived in a technology museum for 4 years.
In 1999 at Taiwan, there is a 3-head tortise being discovered. The third head is smaller then the other two. This tortise has a poor sense of direction. It always walk in zig-zag route.
On 30th September,2005, A Cuban lady discovered a double-head tortise alongside of a river near the captical, Havana.
