The graph of y=log (base 2)x is transformed to become that of
y= log (base 2) √x. Describe the transformation involved.

let L1: y1=log (base 2) [x]
then Let L2 : y2 = log (base 2) [√x]
then y2 = log (base 2) [x^(1/2)]
y2 = 1/2[ log (base 2) [x]]

so L2 can be obtain from transfroming L2 by dividing 2
that is (y2)=(y1)/2

log (x+2)=a
x+2= 10^a (rasie both side to the power of 10)
x=10^a - 2

-(log y/2)=0.5
log y/2= -0.5
y/2 = 10^(-0.5) (rasie both side to the power of 10)
y/2 = 1/ (√10)
y = 2 / (√10)
y = 2 (√10) / 10 (rationalisation)
y = (√10) / 5
