QUADRATIC EQUATION
This is not a linear equation.
A linear equation has power (exponent of x) 1 as maximum.
A quadratic equation has power (exponent of x) 2 as maximum
-x^2 + 2x
Maximum power of x is 2, so it is quadratic.

It is a quadratic equation as the highest degree is 2.

It's a quadratic formula because linear equations can't have the x variable raised to a degree other than 1.

It is quadratic. This is because the equation f(x)=0 also means that -f(x) is 0. So x^2-2x=0 is the same as the given equation. As a thumb rule, highest degree becomes that of equation

it is a quadratic.
linear equations have only x^1 (which is just x)
quadratics have x^2
