Did 做,幹
was,were 是

I was crying that time.
They were playing .
如果填充, I/he/she/it_______(be) 填was
you/they_______(be)填were
_________(do) past咗 填did,將會 填will do,依家 填do


should,ought 差不多:應該(不過ought 通常連 to,should不用)
have會連著 to :要
而 must 是命令,必須
Example:
Mum:Tom,you must go to bed now.
Tom:No,mum.I have to win this hateful man(playing his computer)
Mum:you know,you should be a good boy.
Dad:And,you ought to be a good student.
Tom:I know.
Mum:Then go to bed now.You should not be late for school!
Tom:Okay.Good night mum and dad.

為何無人解釋 pleased 是形容詞? 你們不懂嗎?

例如:Were they pleased with their present?

e.g. Were they happy at the wedding dinner?
e.g. Were we jealous of his success?
e.g. Were they shocked at his death?

我是嘉善呀！did=do was=is were=are
Were they pleased with their present?=對他們的存在他們是否是滿意？ were=他們

must=必需 should=應該 ought to=應該 have=有


A: what time do we have to meet?=我們什麼時候必須見面？
