Why is China trying to kill off Americans with their tainted products?

what do u expect from chinese.. they will sell u a goat(for five times cheaper) and when u reach home, it might be a dog.chinese!!

why are Americans blaming China instead of providing proper safety control?... Nobody forces USA people to buy Chinese products if they don't like them...

well, you can also ask why is the US government not taking stricter measures against US companies importing tainted products and allowing them to be sold and used in US. It takes two parties to create problems, the one making the tainted products and the one buying and then selling the tainted products, both due to lack of regulation by their governments. So, if it's laziness, then I guess both the Chinese and the US governments are guilty.

The tainted products are a result of corruption, trying to cut corners for a quick kai or buck, unregulated products or a change of specifications.

Have any Americans actually died? A bettter, but still innacurate, question would be "Why is China trying to kill off the Chinese?" The tainted goods have a much higher effect within China. If Americans are really that worried, instead of whining about it, stop buying Chinese crap. We stopped buying food from China like 2 years ago. (Viva ROC)
