Asuume there is frictional force between the types and the road.
When the car is moving along the road and the car engine is stopped suddenly, the only net force acting on the car is the frictional force, which is oppsite tothe direction of motion of the car.
By -f=ma,a=-f/m,thus the car decelerates.
Also as the car is decelerating, the car get hot as the work done against friction is converted to the internal energy of the car

When the car engine is stop. There are no applied force for the car to move toward. If the car is moving origanally, the car will come to decelerateion. It is because F=ma,0-f=ma,f=m(-a).(where F is net force,0 is the magnetude of the applied force,f is the frictional force)
Hence, the car will decelerate. The frictional force is decrease as the velocity of the car is decrease. It mean that, when the velocity of the car is 0ms-1,the frictional force will be 0N too.

due to interia the car will move with uniform velocity if there is no netforce act on the car

By inertia, the car will continue moving until the friction is larger than the inertia.

唔知岩唔岩呢.
