If the money was 'left' in a Will as part of an Estate then
the Will has been 'published' and is a public document on file
with the court.
Any 'interested party can obtain a copy.
The terms of the Trust will be in, or attached to, the Will.
Read the terms before you get too excited.
It is not unusual for a Trust to be withheld for
distribution at an age greater than 21.

Is her father the trustee? If not, she should contact the person who is. If he is the trustee, and he's violating the terms of the trust, she may need to pursue legal action against him.

If there was a law firm involved in settling her grandfather's estate, that's where she should start for advice.

She has to figure out why her dad doesn't like you.
She has to reasure him that you wont spend all her money.
He might think you are not financially responsible.
I am sure he would like to hold it for her retirement so it won't be thrown away.
