Thanks a lot, Do you mean no matter how far it is, the ticket fee is also the same? Besides, do you mean carnets is cheaper than single ticket? Apart from that, is there any worthy seeing city that can to and fro in the same day?

Actually, there is nothing which is "must see, must eat and must buy" because interest of different person will be different. I strongly advise you to buy a travel guide before planning your trip. Studying the guide throughly and see which places that you would like to go. Many people say that Museum of Louvres is very interesting, but if you don't like printings and arts, you will feel boring. So, you are the only one who can answer this question. Or you may let us know what are you interested in, then we can introduce some places for you.
Chateau de Vincennes located in the boundary of the city, although it's still in Paris centre, it's far away from downtown. From CDG, you can take RER B line to Chatelet, then change metro line 1, the terminus of line 1 will be Chateau de Vincennes.
Sorry, I am not sure what do you mean. Do you mean the city of "Dijon" ?
There is no more carte d'orange already and it's replaced by Carte Navigo (something similar to Octopus of Hong Kong", but the card need to by applied on a French website and collect in Paris. So, to avoid any troubles, please buy carnets during your trip.
Actually, la Tour Eiffel offers you a very good view whenever you arrive. But I suggest you arrive there just before sunset, then you can enjoy the view of sunset and at night. There is 2 good places to see the tower. The first one is on the platform of Trocadero, the second one is on the Champs de Mars.

6. I don't think metro in Paris is very dangerous. But you also need to avoid being single at night (after 10pm) on the street or metro.

7. Taxi is very very expensive in Paris. Please erase this word in your brain when you are in Paris unless you are a millionnaire.

Dijon is a city near Lyon, where is around 2.5 hours from Paris. You can see an area of old fashion European houses there. It's quite pretty but not worth to travel there for a single purpose.
Mustard is 芥辣. Mustard is the typical souvenir for Dijon

Carnet = 1 sets of 10 single tickets. You an use 1 ticket for each journey. Ticket can be shared with others. So If you have 2 persons, you can travel 5 times together.

Obviously carnet is cheaper than single ticket. 1 carnet consists of 10 single ticket and which is only 70% of the original price. The fare of metro is same in the Paris centre (zone 1 - 2). For places located outside Paris, e.g. Versailles, Disneyland, you have to buy another single ticket.
