Forrest Gump is a mentally retarded (mentally challenged) child with an IQ of only 75. At school, he ran when he heard his friend Jenny told him to run away from the bullies teasing him. But in doing so, he discarded his leg braces (加上去來解釋他可以跑的原因)

During high school, while running away from the bullies, he ran into a football field. And he got into university as a star American Football player, and was invited to meet President John F. Kennedy.

But as Jenny passed away, and his son finally a school-aged child, Gump walked his son to board the school bus. Afterwards, he sat on the bench at the bus stop and reminisced his life experiences...
