I would say take a dramamine (the drowsy formula) which will make you sleep. Once you wake up, hopefully after a few hours, watch the inflight movie or read your book. If you sleep part the of way, the activities you have lined up will be enough to keep you occupied.

get a longer book if you enjoy reading. start writing a book; even if you arent that serious about it, it still passes up time to brainstorm ideas. and who knows, you might come up with the next marley and me.

Grab a 3rd book to bring along with you...or some puzzle books such as wordsearch, crossword, sudoku, etc. If you can, get a window seat...if it's a nice clear day, it can be fun to watch out the window.

They might have a movie on the plane, which will kill a couple of hours. Then eat your peanuts (if they give them) one at a time...really savor them. That'll take another 3 minutes (there aren't that many peanuts).

Then you can take a couple of hikes to the bathroom. Hopefully, there'll be a line at the door, so that can use up more flying time.

Or you can take a paper and pen and use the time to write letters, poetry, a diary, a short story, make notes to yourself, etc. Or take 3 short books or 1 long book and/or a newspaper.

If you're a social type person, you might end up talking with the person next to you.

If all else fails, sleep.

Bring headphones anyway because a lot of planes have channels of music you can listen to and plug your headphones right into your arm rest. There are in-flight movies but most of them are pretty painful. Maybe just bring a pad of paper and a pen so you can write letters to your friends, or at least doodle. I always bring soda crackers (Premium plus in the red box aka saltines) to eat in case I get air sick. The best thing to do really is try to sleep through it. Good luck!

It relies upon - some planes have wifi, others do no longer. For airplane rides that are that long, they often coach a action picture. If no longer, there are not many different suggestions. perchance you could sleep? i does not suggestions sitting in an airplane for 6 hours all by myself; it sounds extremely relaxing. All i could genuinely want is song and that i'm waiting.

This is your survival guide!?

1(go to Walmart)

2 bring magazines lots of magazines books dont usually work for me.

3 Bring a deck of cards so you can play with the person next to you.

4 Write letters to your friends on the plane.

5 Buy headphones so you can listen to the planes music.

6 If you have a laptop bring it too you wont be able to turn it on for 15 minutes maybe.

7 Bring a sketch pad to sketch in it really helps too.

8 Watch a movie on the plane I know those movies suck but it is something to do.

9 Hike up to the bathroom and wait in line that will help too.

10 Look out the window and look at the ground.(Unless you are afraid of heights.)

11 If you can borrow a friends camera you can take pictures of the ground that helps alot.

I hope these help alot.
