What's the meaning of "as far as i am concerned..."?

It means 'from my perspective' or 'as it relates to me.' For instance, "As far as I'm concerned affirmative action is pretty useless." The speaker does not benefit from affirmative action, so affirmative action doesn't positively affect their 'concerns,' or best interests.
