i'd like to apply HKU '09 entry through non-jupas. i'm wondering if the admission committees only consider my first choice. cos i'm gonna put dental surgery for first, chemistry for second.
if they only consider the first one, i will probably put some anecdotes related to dental surgery in my personal statment instead of being more general.

Of course they consider your second and third choices as well. Why else would they give you three choices??The personal statement is supposed to suit for all three choices.
However if you are a really good student (good enough with a good chance of getting into dental), you could make your personal statement a bit more specific.
Bachelor of Science (there is no "Chemistry" any more), should be easy to get in if you are good enough.
