Question about morning sickness...?

2008-12-19 10:03 pm
My husband and I are TTC I got my last period on Nov 19th and I've been noticing lately that most smells especially when i'm cooking are making me really sick. I woke up around 4 this morning and have been throwing up ever since I can hardly keep anything down. I'm wondering if morning sickness usually goes away after you vomit once or does it just keep coming back?? I don't really think it's a stomach bug because it seems really different..Anyone get morning sickness where it just stays all day??
更新1:

I usually have a 32 day cycle and i'm on cycle day 31 right now...i've already taken 2 early response preg tests and both were negative...this is lame.....I hope there's a chance I could still be pregnant.

Yes, it can stay all day. I thought I was done throwing up in the morning but I was wrong, I couldn't even make it into work without stopping at a few gas stations along the way (I finally turned the car around and went home). Take a test to see if you're pregnant. If you are, just know that there will be days where you just throw up once and you're fine for a few days, then there are days where you're literally hanging out at the bathroom all day.

Oh, yeah! After a few days of being sick every minute, I wanted to kill whoever coined the term "morning" sickness. I would even wake up during the night to throw up, it totally sucked. I would say you are 100% pregnant! The smell thing is unique to pregnant women. Soon even good smells will make you want to vomit! I couldn't keep much down except for decaffeinated tea...even crackers were too much. You'll just have to experience with different foods and beverages to see what you can keep down. Congrats!

Some women experience this form of extreme morning sickness. My sister-in-law was like this during her second pregnancy. Other women have the type that once they throw up they feel fine.

You'd roughly be 4 weeks pregnant. Which isn't too early to be getting morning sickness, but generally it comes on around six weeks.

I'd say take a test, if it comes up negative then wait a week and try again. Good luck, hon! Baby dust!

isk y they call it morning sickness because it does last all day.as for the vomiting if ur constantly smelling things that make u sick yes u r going to keep throwing up....morning sickness usually stops after the first trimester but for some women its much longer like the whole pregnancy

no way to know without taking a test. Some women are sick non stop for 9 months and some hardly notice they are pregnant until the baby pops out much less have any type of morning sickness.
Good Luck.

Usually you puke and your good for the day at least that's how it was for me. Usually you miss a period before you start vomiting anyways. Its most likely a bug esp since you keep throwing up. Doesn't mean your not pregnant esp if you havent gotten a period yet, you just may have a bug is all.
