from hong kong to china visa?

can i obtain a visa for china in hong kong? i plan to go there this summer and i was wondering since i dont need a visa to get into hong kong, if i can just go there and get my visa to china, i heard it was much faster and easier. im from iowa. could u recommend a site?

Yes, in the airport (Terminal 2) they have a few kiosks that advertise it.

They can also arrange trains or busses or planes or boats, too. They can handle it all.

You have to get the China entry visa from your home country. You can try the US embassy office in HK, but most likely, you will need to get one before you leave US.

I think you have to get visa from consulate or embassy within your own country. I tried to get a USA visa in Japan when I was a Chinese citizen and they told me I had to go back to China to get it.
