I bought an insurance two years ago and forget to declare i had red eye disease on 2001. Last month, I told insurance company that I had this disease and fully recovered. Thay replied me if I file any claims which arise directly or indirectly from eye disease, they reserve the right to decline any such claims. But insurance company has no exclusion on the policy and insurance company said only for keep record only. They said if they did not cover my eye, they should send me an counter-offer and need my signature, they do not do that. They will see what the doctor say in future if I had claim. What should I do? I ask the Insurance Authority and they said none of their business and no government organisation deal with it. They told me to ask my lawyer. What should I do????Why insurance company do not write it clear????
the agent told me he has a client also had red disease and the company approve the policy, no exclusion or rated-up premium. he show the contract.

The insurance have nothing to do with. According to the normal procedure, if the claim is related to the past disease or illness which is happened before the effective date of the policy and you had not declared in your application (medical insurance policy). That claim will be declined. However, the disease or illness you had declared to the insurance company and they have no exclusion on the policy, then that mean your policy is covered those disease even it was happened in your life.
But you don't need to worry. Red eye disease is seldomly happened again and again, in short period, and that kind of disease is too difficult to prove it happen because of pass records.
So, they said "reserve the right to decline ". Because after a few years, they are not possible to decline red eye disease from you. There is no relationship between the occurrences
