I have some bamboo shoots? HELP?

Other than for stir-fries and stews or braised dishes, another use to to julienne them and mix with other ingredients as fillings for spring rolls or even tossed in an Asian style salad. You could even have an Asian stuffing for your roast chicken or turkey.

Stir-fry with chicken, baby corn, sweet peas, etc. Bamboo shoot is kinda bland by itself.

You can eat them straight out of the can!


Try sauteing them with garlic on a side of fish or your favorite meal!

cook them with vegetables or add them in soups or stews

They don't have much flavour but I love the texture in coconut curry.
