How do I stop eating so much?

I managed to be pretty good with my eating habits. For a while I could resist the temptation of a muffin, cookie, slice of cake, icecream.. it was good. I didn't over eat either. Even if others were still eating, i could stop at what i thought was best. Suddenly, after having a splurge from eating muffins, cakes and chocolates i can seem to stop! I mean, i don't eat the fatty foods, but i end up eating way too much of different types of foods when i'm not even hungry. I'm just craving for the taste. I can't seem to stop thinking about eating... Whats wrong with me? What cant i stop eating? How can i stop myself from giving in to the temptation?

There are a couple of things you can do, but first you have to identify why you crave food.

Drink more water. People often mistake thirst for hunger and eat instead of drink.

Keep some chewing gum around. They don't have many calories, they're sweet, and you won't be eating while you chew (or for a while after).

If you can, don't stock those foods. Many people cannot avoid this if they aren't the primary provider of their household. You can, however, always ask the primary provider to not stock or to reduce the stock of such foods or perhaps even stock alternatives.

If all else fails, you'll just have to find something you want more than the food and concentrate on that. Willpower can do wonders.

Don't keep that stuff in the house. Instead of chocolate and other sweets, keep fruit on hand. Cut it up and store it in the fridge, that way it's always there. Eventually the fruit will calm your craving for sweets. If you have to have the "bad" stuff around...keep it in a cabinet or somewhere that's not so easy to access....my spot would be the tiny little cabinets over the refrigerator. I have to get a chair, and clean off the fridge to even open the cabinet. Not worth a cookie if ya ask me. Good luck!

Let yourself have 1 or 2 of these treats a week (in small portions) and just eat healthily for the rest of the time. That way, hopefully, you won't feel like you're missing out. This system works for me most of the time.

and also, try brushing your teeth and drinking water if you have the craving. brushing your teeth will help you get that dull taste out of your mouth, and drinking water will kill the thirst (a lot of time, we mistake thirst for hunger)

and also, perhaps you can try to keep yourself busy with someone when you think of food? like, play a Sudoku game?

+ Well, I think you're just an " nasasarapan lang sa mata". I mean, you want to eat always because your mind said it. Just control yourself. Don't think so much about the food+
= Note: If my advise didn't work, I think you must see a doctor.
=I am just twelve so don't serious my advise so much. This is just an opinion. And sorry for my grammar.
