up until recently i disliked sushi due to popular belief of it being raw fish
i hate fish.
yet alone raw fish, but my bro took me out to a sushi restaurant, and it
was fresh and awsome
i loved it
i have looked it up and become obsessed and i want to make it at home (drive to restuarant is hell) and i know HOW to make specific ones like shrimp and cali rolls however i have seen people contriversing on what sushi really is and now i am curious.
my question is:
what is sushi
what is maki
what is that sea weed, some people say there are 2 or 3?
whats shashimi
what is wasabi, how do i create it ( i hear its expensive and restaurants create false ones as subsititute)
and what are the differances between all the sushi's for instance they came with some rolled as rice on the outside, some had it inside with the seaweed outside, some came with JUST rice and on top was shrimp or fish (for my bro) and some came like that but a seaweed wrapped around it to i guess "hold" it together
basically i want to know everything
sources help alot i pref you answer rather than a link where i gota look for hours to find 1/10 bloody answers
thank you
