Re : Request for extension of shipdate – Order# 123

Please kindly note that we would like to request to extend the shipdate of order 123 as follows :

Original shipdate : February 5, 2009
Request shipdate : February 24, 2009

The reason why we need to delay the delivery is that during our meeting on December 3, it was decided to change the fabric of the jacket. Since the mass production lead time of the fabric is 30 days, which means we will have the materials earliest by January 3rd. As the Chinese New Year Holiday will start from January 17th till February 10 and our factory has to be closed to let all workers return to their home town, we really do not have enough time to complete the order before the holidays start.

We understand that this will cause you a lot of trouble in your stock and marketing planning. However we hope you can understand our difficulties and accept to delay the shipment till February 24.

Asked guests to extend the cargo: the original shipment period 5/2/09 until 24/2/09

Extension for the following reasons:

As the guests in the Dec. 3 meeting the requirements to coat fabrics, cloth goods production and use of time within 30 days, about Jan. 3 will be back to the big cloth goods, workers have to go home to put the Chinese New Year holiday from Jan. 17 to February 10, during which the factory will be closed with effect from this did not have time to catch large goods, please accept our extension to 24/2/09.

Reason as follow:

由於客人在１２月３日開會時要求改外套布料，大貨布生產時間要用３０天，約１月３日會返大貨布，工人有要回家放農曆 新年假由１月１７至２月１０日，在這期間工廠會關閉，跟本沒有時間趕起大貨，請接受我們延期至24/2/09。　

Since the client has requested us to change the fabric on the 03/12/09, we will need 30 days to produce it. However, all our workers are going back to their family from the 17/01/09 to 10/02/09 (chinese new year holiday). The factory will be closed during that time since its chinese new year. therefore, please allow us to extend the due date to 24/02/09
