✔ 最佳答案
2x - x - 5 = 2 -7 + x

x - 5 = -5 + x

x - x = -5 + 5

0 = 0

2x - (x + 5) = 2 - (7 - x)
2x - x - 5 = 2 - 7 + x
2x - x - x = 2 - 7 + 5
0 = 0

Answer: this problem has infinite number of solutions. Any value assigned to x will do.

2x - (x + 5) = 2 - (7 - x)
2x - x - 5 = 2 - 7 + x
x - 5 = -5 + x
x - x = -5 + 5
0 = 0
[2x - (x + 5) ≡ 2 - (7 - x)] (identity)

x - 5 = x - 5
No unique solution

look all what you have to do is to change the signs of the brackets and that is because of the negative sign
look:for example:
-(2x-3)=-2x+3

then
2x-(x+5)=2-(7-X)
2x-x-5=2-7+x
x-5=-9+x

but this eqution you got is wrong because:
if we send the (x)to the other side there will be no x so we could make a little correction on the problem which is:

2x-(x+5)=2-(7+x)
2x-x-5=2-7-x
x-5=-9-x
2x=-9+5
2x=-4
x=-2

best wishes

Because it reduces to 0 as shown in the above posts, ANY number could be subbed in for x and it would still be true. So all numbers is the correct answer.

linear equation WITH ONE VARIABLE:

These are simple to solve, just do the indicated operations:
2x-(x+5)=2-(7-x)
2x-x-5=2-7+x.............Move all x terms to the left side and numbers to the right side.
2x-x-x= 2-7+5.............(Add)
0=0

THIS MEANS THAT THERE IS NO SOLUTION

ANSWER

Simple. Expand the brackets.

2x-x-5=2-7+x (because of sign rules)
x-5=x-5
0

2x-(x+5)=2-(7-x)
2x - x - 5 = 2 - 7 + x
2x - x - x = 2 - 7 + 5
0 = 0

What is there to solve?
