我是副學士畢業, career path 想在秘書這行發展, 我知道秘書同公司秘書是有分別
我知道 hkics 有公司秘書認可的考試, 要成為 ics 的學生就要有 degree holder 或者其他qualification. 我想問
1. 我可以做的就是否報讀中大的 ibam再申請做 student 呢?
2. 公開大學都有相關的 master 課程, 完成後可以免試的, 但其入學資格是什麼? 因為 ibam 只是 adv dip, 不是 degree, 所以應該在報讀 ou 之前要讀什麼吧...?
若果只是普通行政秘書的話, 有沒有什麼認可證書課程可以報讀呢?
HKMA的公司秘書證書課程(part 1 - part 3)又有沒有用呢?

若果只是普通秘書的話, 妳去 YMCA 都有普通的秘書課程讀, 而且YMCA 的秘書課程都幾出名, 差不多所有僱主都知 !!而公司秘書就真係高級好多 !! 因為公司秘書係在大公司或上市公司內幫董事或老闆等高層安排會議, 跟進會議紀錄等 !! 而普通秘書可能只係在一些中小形公司內做打雜, 例如訂蒸餾水, 訂文具, 甚至要去銀行等 !1 但公司秘書就唔會做呢D咁底低級嘅嘢囉 !!
公司秘書要考的就是香港公司秘書公會的試, 或英國的 ICSA, 即是英國特許秘書及行政人員學會的試 !! 而考咗 ICSA 之後, 在 ACCA 仲有豁免添 !1 即係話連ACCA 都承認ICSA 的學歷, 妳話幾高級呢 !!

If you can proceed to Company Secretary, it's not a bad career path, else, it's a waste to be personal secretary as you are 'over qualified' for that with your Associate Degree.

I suggest you to proceed with ICSA or in shortcut they call it "Chartered Secretary". It is a professional qualification and it scope of works are unlike those "private n confidential secretary, or personal assistant".
Being a Chartered Secretary, you need to speak n write good English, and able to interpret the Companies Act etc. It is not easy to pass ICSA, but if you got a related degree i.e. business administration, probably u may get exemptions in certain papers.... you may check this out with the ICSA office in Hong Kong..
