Weather For those who are seeking warm, dry and sunny weather, the ideal time is October to December. Those who are wanting to escape the humidity of tropical climates will appreciate the cooler months of January and February. The humidity is typically high in the spring and worse in the summer, when high temperatures (usual maximum of 33-34°C) are often recorded.

Normally I didn't ask for such info. On TV or the Web, there are the info. Check with the airline or at airport, you get the distance, flight time, temp and weather condition.

I just spent 6 months in Guangzhou, China. Guangzhou is only about 80 miles from Hong Kong. With Visa restrictions I had to travel to Hong Kong every 2 months to renew my Visa. When I first came to China my Flight landed in HK. This was Mid MARCH. The weather was nice. Humidity moderate and temp was around 80's. As the time past summer came. It's HOT!!! Guangzhou can get in the high 90's and humid. It also rained for days on end. HK is much of the same. Hot Humid and Wet. But being by the water you can get a cool streak once and a while. Another problem is that while I was in China at least 3 tropical storm came. This brought a ton of rain and HK will get dumped on. During the winter (NOW) HK is cooler. Day time is around 70 to 80. But the humidity is low. It gets a bit chilly at night dropping to around 50 or so. Again being by the water will have an effect on the cooler nights. It's not unlike southern California. If you are going to HK I think you should cross over into CHINA. Just on the edge of HK is Shenzhen. Once you get into China you will see a huge difference. I highly advise that you check out the 24 Relaxing centers. You can stay, sleep, drink, eat, get a foot massage, use the internet, full body massage, ( yes happy ending will be given) watch TV, get your ears cleaned, take a steam, and a ton more. The price is crazy. You can do all this for around $40 to $60 US DOLLARS. Oh... be carfull. The number one crime is Pick Pockets. Have Fun
