Well, each country & cuisine has its own weird foods that others think it's gross but residents don't bat an eyelid. America is not just known for hamburgers & hot dogs but also stuff like Rocky Mountain 'oysters', lamb fries, Cricket Lick-It lollipops etc that are as weird as anything out of Asia. Other Western countries also have their escargots, tongues, haggis, black pudding, frog legs, human placenta, live oysters that many people would find gross.

Personally I would rather stick to 'normal' human food, properly cooked, consumed by the vast majority of people living in modern cities. I don't mind the occasional game meat and I do take inner organs like pig liver & intestines (no brains please), but I draw the line at creepy crawlies, genitilia, live food & too fermented stuff.

Not something I would touch, but, to each their own.

Well, I eat lots of what non-Chinese would consider bizarre, so its I don't mind it at all. In fact, its all quite tasty, be it the texture of chicken feet or the flavour of century eggs.

They are great and they cater to both the adventurous and the more-conservative diners. There's nothing wrong with curry fish balls (basically it's just like that meatball on your pasta, but made with fish and cooked in curry sauce) or egg puffs (which is like the Eggo you had for breakfast, but cooked in a honeycomb-puff skillet). Just because you see one couple stalls selling pig intestines or chicken feet doesn't mean that everything else's "ewwww".

The only thing that's really gross is food that's undercooked or dirty (turned bad), but then again, that could happen to the good ol' hotdog or burger, too.

Chinese street foods are among the best in the world. American foods served at fairs, are comparable, only in their variety. I think the word however is Bazaar, not bizarre. I could be mistaken
