Flashblock - blocks all java and flash applications on websites untill u click on them. This stops unnecessary bandwidth usage and gives you more control over all those annoying ads that always pop up.DownloadThenAll - is a download program integrated into Firefox that supports resume support. It also increases the speed of your downloads
DownloadHelper - useful for getting those videos on sites like Youtube. It will give you a direct link to the exact file being played on your pc.
Not sure if these all work for FF 3 cause atm im using Vista and FF 2 as I find it more stable. These addons along with the extra search engines I've added to the box in the top right of Firefox makes browsing just that much easier
