In slope-intercept form, the equation is y= -2x - 2

So plot the point (0, -2), which is the y-intercept. Then use the slope (-2) to do the rest: Go down 2, and to the right one. then connect the points and stretch the line out. That is how you graph a line.

Hope this helped!

y + 4 = -2(x - 1)
y + 4 = -2*x + 2*1
y + 4 = -2x + 2
y = -2x + 2 - 4
y = -2x - 2

(x,y) : (-1 , 0) , (0 , -2) , (1 , -4) , (2 , -6) ...

Slope = -2
Y intercept = -2

y + 4 = - 2x + 2
y = - 2x - 2
(0,-2) and (4,-10) are two points on the line.
Plot points and draw line thro` them.
