my cat is sick, low red cell, just recceived blood transfusion, changed 3 vet. the last one is internal medicine. they all said that my cat may have a bond morrow cancer, he is taking steriod and pecid AC. after two days hospitized, the cat is still no eat, drink and sleep. I have to feed him everyday and night. anyway! how to help him to have a stool. I have asked the 3rd vet from the internal medicine, he said because the cat just can eat half can of food everyday, so he has no stool but I don't think so.
please any way can make the cat has a stool. thanks

DO NOT add Miralax to the cat's food. Miralax is a human drug, and it's unknown what it can do to an animal. Another laxative that is chemically very similar, can cause a deadly blood disorder. I'm sorry, but I am sure that all three vets suggested euthanasia. Bone marrow cancer is incurable, and horribly painful. I don't generally suggest euthanasia if a pet is doing well, yours is not. Your cat is not eating, drinking, or eliminating. There is NO quality of life there for this cat. And it is probably in great pain. Do the right thing and put him to sleep.

Your poor baby! Prayers are with you. I don't know what to tell you other then to call the vet and see what they want to do. If he's eating when you feed him, he has to have something in there!

You have to make sure there is no blockage first. If there is none, you can add miralax to the food when you feed.
Please do not feed dry foods as the system needs water and that is part of the problem. Best of luck
