呢幾句點解,應該點答?

Hi,
"How do you do? <------It is very formal.( When you first meet someone, you say this. It usually requires no reply.
In some grammar books, they say you may reply with" How do you do?".

Note: In modern English, that refers to " How are you?".

HOW ARE YOU DOING?
You may answer-
1) I am doing okay (oral).
2) Nothing much and you?
3) Not bad. My sister is in town................
4) Not too bad and you?

What are you doing?
1) I am working on my project at the moment. How about you?
2) I am busy with my homework.
3) Nothing much. I am just playing some online games.
Note: Just tell that person what you ARE DOING. It all depends.

How have you been? (That person hasn't seen you for a while and he wants to you how you have been.)
1) I've been just fine. Last night I went to ...... with my friends......
( To tell that person more about what you (have done/did))
2) Gosh! I have been so busy with my exam. ....................

是問:你好嗎?相當於how are u?不過HOW DO YOU DO的問法是更加隨意的,常用於朋友之間.
可以答:I'm fine/soso/not bad etc....

HOW ARE YOU DOING?
是問:你最近如何?是大圍的,是回答最近的情況/定位
答案不是我很好之類,而是更明確的
可以答:I'm repeat my secordary 5

WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
是問:你現在在做什麼.很多時是在電話/網上聊天會問到的
有些人會喜歡加"NOW"上去:WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?
可以答:I'm watching TV.


仲有what do you do?
是問:你做什麼的.這是問你的工作
可以答:I'm a teacher.
