I really want to start a blog??

Try the free blog communities like wordpress.com, thoughts.com, blogger.com. You will need good/relevant content to build up a reader base, but belonging to a blog community makes your blog a bit more 'visible'.

I hope you're good when it comes to HTML and CSS. To create a great website/blog you need to know these things and what people want to see. Don't use blogger.com Use Freewebs.com. Its easier to use and great for amateurs.
