香港固體廢物應否運往內地處理?

除了《巴塞爾公約》公約的限制外，

在道理上，香港亦應自己處理固體廢物，這是負責任的行為!

但問題是，眾所周知香港的堆田區就快在未來這幾年填滿。

有見及此，政府現在急於興建焚化爐解決問題

用不着把固體廢物運往內地處理

把固體廢物運往內地處理只會加劇內地的污染問題

損害大陸同胞而且對他們不公平

此外，污染內地，最終受害的可能還是香港!

It is a solution for HK solid waste treatment

under the 巴塞爾公約 , shipment of hazard waste to developing countries is banned.

However, in HK there are huge amount of non-hazard waste such as inert C&D material(soil and rock), recyclable material (paper, plastic, metal), etc. all these material is a headache problem in HK

For example, inert C&D material now will be used for reclamation or disposed of public filling areas, but as the control of reclamation around victoria harbour and the limiting area at public filling areas. The way for disposal of C&D inert material will become more and more difficult. However, in china, they largely require this kind of material for thier infrastructure works, but now owing to the control of government and no connection between the supply and demand, so no export of this waste to china now in HK
