The units of power and resistance are energy over time. What is their relationship? Is resistance in other terms expressed as the power used up in a current?

E=PT,P=E/T.
P=IV,P=I^2R,P=V^2/R
The relationship of power and resistance are P=I^2R and P=V^2/R.
If resistance is less,more current will arross the circuit.Hence,P=IV,the power will be higher since V is constant of the supply.
