7w + 9w = 12 - 4 + 8

16w = 16

w = 16/16

w = 1

3. -2(2a - 5) > 30

-4a + 10 > 30

-4a > 30 - 10

-4a > 20

-a > 20/4

-a > 5

a < -5

ok lets see

lets start with no 2
first u add the like terms 7w and 9w equaling = 16w
this leaves us with 16w - 8 now do 12 - 4 = 8
now 16w - 8 = 8 now to find the value of w:
8( opposite of) +8 = 16 hope you understand so far
now for w you must divide. 16/16 = w = 1

5e - 2 + 2e < 4 - 272
You cant find the answer but can be simplified
move the term +2e (don't forget the + or - when carryin over) next to 5e
5e + 2e - 2 ( see how i moved the 2 with th - meaning -2)
so 7e - 2
hopefully you know directed numbers so 4 - 272 would equal 27 - 4 except adding a - sign so = -268
we cant figure this out without knowing the value of e so the answer is
7e - 2 < -23
now -23 (opposite sign) +2 = -21
-21/7 = -3
e<-3

3. -2(2a - 5) > 30
expand the brackets
-2 x 2a = -4a
-2 x -5 = +10
- 4a - 10 > 30
now 30 -10 = 20
20/-4 = -5
