I'm a big fan of shabu shabu, mochi dango, and pretty much anything else involving red bean paste myself. Sushi is good too, as is miso soup. On the other hand, I really can't handle pickled plums. Even the mild ones are way too strong for me.
Vegetable tempura, miso soup is probably my favorite, I love tuna sushi! Yakitori is also very good. And seaweed salad! Yum. Only thing I tried and didn't care for was Udon. Where I went, the broth was really sweet kind of, and I thought it tasted strange.
This is probably going to sound typical but I love sushi and teriyaki chicken! I like california rolls and unakyu rolls (eel & cucumber), but I can eat almost any mix of sushi. I mostly like the dry sushi rolls the most though, unlike the lion king roll (albeit the lion king rolls are good too).
Sometimes I out due myself on the sushi though, and then I go through periods of time I can't even think of eating sushi because I get so tired of it.
i am japanese and i love japanese food...naturally.
i love anything from ramen to sushi to donburis (bowls with rice on the bottom and meat and stuff on top)
i also like curry and yakiniku (grilled beef) and stuff like that.
