In this course, student can learn:

Ask the student to study the "Electricity Supply in Hong Kong".

The location of the power station? there is a symptom, why all of them are located at the West Side of Hong Kong? Any reason behind? (i.e. Water cooling, flow from Pearl River; Wind direction towards South side of HK; except Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station)

How many power station are there supplying electricity to Hong Kong? (Lamma Island, Castle Peak Power Station, Black Point Power Station, Penny Bay Power Station and Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station)

What are the fuel we are using now? (Coals, natural gas, nuclear, hydraulic storage, pilot-wind power)

What is the new trend of generation of electricity power? (Wind power, Photovoltaic, …) Experience from other country? (Japan) Pros and Cons analysis?

Final strategy of electricity for public use? (No, consider the portable usage. For instance, not really substitute for the fuel of cars)
