What is the cost per line of PHP code?

Usually developers charge by the amount of time they spend on a project, not by how many lines of code it is. For instance, I have wrote over 100 lines of code under an hour before, but at the same time I've spend multiple hours trying to get 1 line of code correct.

We, developers, chard per hour. And not per line. Because writing the syntax is not difficult. But making the best logic for the problem takes more time. If you need ur project/task to be done with complete php documenter style comments, properly indented and neat code, please contact me.

You don't want to be paying someone by the line because if you do, you'll find yourself stuck with a bunch of messy codes that do nothing but take up lines.

If you're going to look at it like that, you should be an accountant. Nothing creative works like that.
