I know learn language is need time, and need to practice & practice, but i only have around 6-8 mths to improve my level, can anyone give me some suggestion ...?Thanks a lot !!

I'd recommend you to take the phonetics course "Practical English Phonetics and Phonology" at www.ipa.edu.hk. (IPA)The course let you know the important fluency skills in English, i.e. weak form, linking and intonation. That also let you know some of the accents of English. This is the course you should take before you go to study in UK.
The use and the knowledge in phonetics symbols help you to correct your pronunciation mistakes and improve you listening.
Their only teacher, Mr Derek Kwok, is an experienced phonetics teacher.
I am sure you will benefit from him.
I took the course years ago and I can tell you that this is a must course for anyone preparing to study abroad.
