What kind of website is this?

I want to make a website. I want it to be like an online notebook that everyone can see. For example, I would write a discussion topic or something, and people anywhere can comment and discuss. What kind of website would this be? What website wizard should I use? THANKS!

To me this sounds kind of like a blogging website.For that there is always myspace and xanga.
not facebook though.

Try blogger.com or wordpress.com. I actually recommend WordPress.com as it is a more powerful blogging platform and you can use widgets to customize it to fit your needs.

If your talking about making a blog-like structure where you post something and then user can comment then find a Blogging host which is best suited to your needs. If you want something a little more advanced then create a forum with software such as Zetaboard's or the like. Set it so that guests can post and there you have it, it's fully customizable so you can make it as simple or as complex as you like.
