neither..nor應該放在句子的邊度?(急)

在以上兩句例子當中, 當然以第一句為之正確. 原因係”neither A nor B”的用法, A和B必需係同形式或者同 parts of speech (e.g. noun/ pronoun, noun phrase, adj, adverb, verb等)
We will have neither French fries nor chicken wings. [Neither + noun phrase + nor + noun phrase]

另外, 這用法沒有規定放於句子中的某特定位置, 只要附合以上條件就0K.

1) 用於句首亦可以的 (即用作句子的subject):
Neither John nor Mary likes playing tennis. [Neither + pronoun + nor + pronoun]

2) 好似例句一般, 用於句尾亦0K! (即用作句子的object complement)

She's neither beautiful nor ugly. In fact, she’s rather plain(相貌平常的). [Neither + adjective + nor + adjective]
His exam result is neither good nor bad (不過不失).


Where is my English textbook? It’s neither on my desk nor in my school bag. [Neither + adjective phrase + nor + adjective phrase]

What is David doing at home? (Maybe you’re asking on the phone) I bet he’s neither doing his homework nor studying. He is such a lazy guy!! [Neither + gerund + nor + gerund]

3) 可用於句中間 (即用作後半句句子的subject):
Richard is very good at playing snooker and neither you nor I can be his match. [Neither + pronoun + nor + pronoun]

When compared with his classmates, he ran neither fast nor slow in yesterday’s competition. [Neither + adverb + nor + adverb]
